Food columnist, caterer and popular cookbook author Kerry Dunnington offers food judging, cooking demonstrations, and culinary/cuisine presentations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Passionate about ethical food practices and healthy food consumption, Kerry maintains a keen focus on supporting local farmers and artisans, promoting sustainable and organic growing and harvesting methodologies, and encouraging consumers to purchase food and prepare menus that are not only healthful and delicious, but involve reduced transportation miles and a lower carbon footprint.
A life-long eco-stylist and food enthusiast, Kerry serves on the Chef's Council and the Board of the American Institute of Wine and Food and is founder of Slow Food Baltimore's Eat in Season Challenge. She maintains a busy catering service from her home in the Tuscany-Canterbury neighborhood of Baltimore, which she shares with her husband (and official taste-tester), Nick Dunnington. |
